Dear Daddy,

I slept like a baby last night- which means mom got some sleep too and woke up in good spirits.

Today was another rainy and cool day so we met Aunt Jennifer and cousin Anthony at the mall for a stroll and lunch. Before we went out, mommy gave me a bath. I only fussed for a very short time- no big screams. I'm getting used to the water and mommy is getting better a holding and washing me when I'm all slippery and wiggly.

I was very well behaved at the mall but when we returned home I was a little moody- couldn't decide if I wanted to sleep, eat or be held...or maybe I was just gassy. Mom did, after all, have chickpeas for lunch. Mom finally rocked me to sleep and I had a nap in the bassinet.

I'm just waking up now and Nonna Kathy is going to give me a diaper change. Nonna is a big help for mommy and she is taking good care of your girls while you are away.

She's no replacement for daddy though! Mommy and I think of you every day and miss you like crazy.
