Wow! What an exciting week we have had. I've been listening to mom tell everyone about the new house and can hear in her voice that she is thrilled- although there was some anxiety in going house hunting and making the offer. It wasn't that mommy had doubts over the house as much as she didn't like leaving me alone twice in one day and just the thought that she would maybe have to leave me longer than anticipated and head into Guelph to make an offer led her to well up with tears in Eric's office. Fortunately Eric is savvy and it all worked out without anyone making a trip into Guelph to throw counter-offers back and forth to save a few thousand dollars.

Guelph sounds nice. Mommy has been telling me all about it and has begun to look into mommy groups and diaper services. She says she is looking forward to raising a family there and is happy that we are settling in Guelph- a family friendly and alternative community. I wonder if the neighbours in our area have young children I can grow up playing with?

Yesterday Derek came to visit- he's funny and had everyone laughing last night. Mom is pleased that moving home means you can both become reacquainted with old friends.

Only two more sleeps until you are home! I can't wait to see you daddy!

Love,

Sarah

Dear Daddy,

Mommy has been staring at me in awe that you are parents to such a beautiful and precious girl. When you first pick me up upon returning home you're never going to want to put me down!

We had a busy week, visiting with lots of family and friends. Monday we stopped in to see Aunt Rebecca and Uncle Mike, Tuesday we saw the doctor- my weight is 9lbs 4 oz and my height 60cm- and visited with Heather, we spent Thursday at Aunt Jennifer's and Aunt Lisa and the girls came to visit yesterday.

We went shopping with Nagymama today (formerly known as Nonna) and she and mom treated themselves to ice cream from the Marble Slab Creamery. Mom may have a new sweet addiction!

Tonight we are going to watch the hockey game. If the series goes to seven games will you be home for the Stanley Cup Final?

Mom reminded me that you'll be home for Father's Day. I'm working hard on your gift and hope you like it.

Love,

Sarah
